Take-out curry from a Michelin-starred old Wagyu Kappo restaurant, fed by a friend.
1,000 yen per portion, two boxes of Wagyu curry + two boxes of white rice.
That's 500 yen per meal.
In the paper box of curry lay two large pieces of Wagyu beef the size of a baby's fist, stewed until soft and oily. The curry is mildly seasoned and not heavy, with a light sour and sweet taste, which does not steal the meat flavor but goes well with rice.
Served with a large box of white rice cooked by the store, the white rice made with good rice and a good pot cannot be bad.
The taste is not perfunctory, and I feel embarrassed to eat it in big mouthfuls. This portion is only 500 yen, and I always feel that I have taken advantage of the store.
